Teaching Philosophy

I believe that meaningful growth comes from embracing the full creative process—including its missteps. I encourage students to accept their failures, recognizing that we often learn far more from what doesn’t work than from what does. Mistakes are not setbacks but essential tools for developing resilience, curiosity, and deeper artistic understanding.

I cultivate a growth mindset in my classroom, emphasizing that skill and creativity develop through consistent practice, exploration, and a willingness to push beyond one’s comfort zone. Art & Design is always evolving, and so I guide students to see their progress as a continuous journey rather than a fixed destination.

Equally important is leading by example. I remain an active creator, sharing my own experiments, challenges, and discoveries with students. By demonstrating dedication, openness, and a love for the craft, I aim to inspire them to pursue their artistic goals with confidence and perseverance.
